OMG, why do we bother with poetry? Nobody reads it anymore outside school. Hands up all of you who read poetry for entertainment? Yep, thought so. Is poetry just designed to torment high school students? Can’t they text their ideas instead?
Fine questions all, Mr Curry. Well, after this unit we may have an answer or two for them.
What is culture? What is a subculture? What makes me believe and behave in the way I do? If possible, these are even more fascinating questions than the earlier ones. This unit is so good it will help us answer these questions too.
